Description: This wine follows the tradition of Chianti Classico: it is made with Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Colorino grapes and is aged in Slaovinian casks. It is an intense ruby red with hints of pomegranate. Its bouquet contains strong, rich scents of dried fruit, spices and balsamic. The wine is fresh yet mellow and has a fine complexity and structured flavour. This wine is served well with white and red meats as well as fresh and aged cheeses. |

CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA BLU

Description: This chianti classico shows international style. Under new regulation of chianti classico the producer is allowed to use up to 20% of international varietals. This Chianti Classico is made from Gaiole’s vineyards using 80% of Sangiovese 56K clone and 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in French Tonneaux Allier Tronçais (500L casks – double of a barrique) for 3 and half years and again one full year in bottle before being released. The color is typical violet and the body is intense but smooth at the same time. |

ROSSO DI MONTALCINO

Description: Rosso di Montalcino is the “baby brunello” coming from the Marchesi Cattaneo estate in Montalcino. It is made 100% with Sangiovese but here the Sangiovese is the Grosso one (bigger grapes than the one from Chianti Classico) and the soil is clay instead of the typical “galestro stone” of Chianti Classico. It has a distinctive pomegranate color and taste of wild berries. |

BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO (Bianca)

Description: Coming from the vineyards in the area of S. Angelo in Colle and staying in oak for 24 months this wine comes forth with a pomegranate and ruby colour. It is made in the traditional Italian style with concentrated red berry fruit and dark cherry with a quite ripe tannins in the final. |
